About Jeff

Sergeant First Class (Retired) Jeff R. Loyd is a Broker-in-Charge and Property Management Advisor for Hawaii Military Realty, Inc.

Jeff grew up in El Paso, Texas, and enlisted in the U.S. Army as a helicopter avionics technician soon after graduating from high school. His 23-year Army career spanned Korea, Japan, Kuwait, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan, where he served in roles ranging from avionics technician and helicopter electrician to platoon sergeant, instructor, Division Liaison Officer, Operations NCOIC, and Senior Enlisted Trainer to the Afghan Air Force.

After retirement, Jeff pursued a license as a Real Estate Salesperson and completed all requirements on April 1, 2013. In his 12-year career as a Realtor, he has earned the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation and is currently a Broker-in-Charge for Hawaii Military Realty, Inc.

Jeff has served as a Buyer's Agent, Seller's Agent, and Property Manager. He is married to his wife, Aiko, and has two children. His hobbies include golf, photography, and spending time with his family.

Military Service

Jeff grew up in the border town of El Paso, Texas. Soon after he graduated from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army as a helicopter avionics technician.

While in the Army, Jeff's service spanned the globe. He served the military in far away assignments such as Korea, Japan, Kuwait, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan, all while honing his managerial skills.

Throughout his 23-year career, Jeff excelled in a wide assortment of positions, including avionics technician, helicopter electrician, squad leader, platoon sergeant, instructor, Division Liaison Officer, and Operations Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of a forward-deployed brigade in hostile countries including Iraq and Afghanistan. Jeff also served as the Senior Enlisted Trainer to the Afghan Air Force.
